Events: What’s cooking at the market?
Moore Street Market has new events every month as well as reoccurring favorites.

Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) held its First Annual Salsa Taste of Moore Street Fundraiser on April 8th, 2010. Click here for pictures.

The Moore Street Market – La Marqueta de Williamsburg – held its 1st Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, December 19th and vendors selling items from delicious cupcakes to African tote bags. The market was full of shoppers enjoying the festivities and cotton candy from Santa Claus.

The event was held in partnership with the U.S. CENSUS Bureau. The Saint Nicholas Alliance Organization Youth Program provided entertainment that included a holiday rap song.

On Sunday, December 20th a “Parranda” featuring two musical bands bringing all the dancers to celebrate the holidays.
