On Wednesday, December 15th, BEDC held its  Entrepreneur Assistance Program (EAP) graduation presentation at the SUNY Brooklyn Educational Opportunity Center (BEOC). A total of 12 participants completed our intensive 60 hours business course. The participants included existing business owners as well as people with an business idea and concept. Business owners included an locksmith, auto    mechanic shop, electrician, real estate and catering. Potential business ideas include florist, event space, party planning and catering, publishing, and a organic fruit and vegetable market. Sophia Sylvester owner of Brooklyn Flavors a graduate of our 2010 EAP says “I really enjoyed the EAP class. The information I received was priceless. For years I struggled with my business plan and because of the class and the support from the instructor and guest speakers, I was able to finish it completely! I’m so glad I met Ms. Benjamin. She has been a great support as well. Keep up the good work!!”
