Small Business Assistance Initiative in Bushwick/Cypress Hills

Thanks to a generous grant from City Councilmember Erik Martin Dilan, BEDC will be running a series of comprehensive outreach and FREE support services for small businesses in the 37th City Council District, which encompasses parts of Bushwick and Cypress Hills. These services will include a business needs survey, a FREE business assistance clinic on Fridays in Cypress Hills, and walking tours made by a business counselor to businesses throughout the council district.

Surveys are currently being mailed to all retail businesses in the 37th Council District. Click here to complete the survey online, to see if your business is located in the 37th Council District, and for more information.

BEDC’s Entrepreneur Assistance Programs for People with Disabilities

BEDC is proud to announce two flagship entrepreneur training programs for individuals with disabilities. LAUNCH is a program offering services and assistance to people with a history of mental health distress; On Track is a program designed to assist people with physical disabilities, blindness, and visual impairments reach their entrepreneurial goals.
