This clinic will help you:
- Identify resources to maintain and grow your business
- Develop or refine a business plan
- Interact with city agencies (for graffiti removal, sanitation tickets, etc.)
- Identify community partners for your business (such as merchant associations, local development corporations, etc.)

Business Needs Survey
Like many other neighborhoods in Brooklyn, the neighborhoods of Bushwick and Cypress Hills are undergoing enormous change, and it is BEDC’s goal to ensure that local small business owners are able to benefit from this change. As part of the Small Business Assistance Initiative in Bushwick/Cypress Hills, we have developed a business needs survey to determine the needs and concerns of retail businesses in the 37th City Council District. Business Assistance Walking Tours
In order to ensure that all businesses in the 37th City Council District receive our assistance, BEDC will also engage in walking tours of the area with a business counselor to provide direct services to local merchants.
